Why Innovation Procurement Matters
Big Science organisations (BSO) represent some of the most ambitious and technically complex projects in Europe. To deliver breakthroughs, they rely not only on established suppliers but also on new, innovative companies capable of meeting unique procurement needs. Innovation procurement creates opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups to enter this market while helping BSOs and Innovation Liaison Officers (ILOs) modernise processes and access cutting-edge solutions.
The INPROCAP project is building the skills and tools necessary for all actors in the Big Science ecosystem to succeed. This first webinar from the INPROCAP training series will introduce the concept of innovation procurement. Moreover, it will share practical examples and present the INPROCAP Training Manuals that will guide participants through a structured learning journey.
