The INPROCAP project is pleased to announce that registration is now open for AIMday Big Science Technology 2025, which will take place on 30 September 2025 in Lund, Sweden, at The Loop — a venue strategically located between MAX IV and ESS.
For the first time, this international AIMday will be jointly organised by BigScience.dk, Big Science Sweden, and the INPROCAP project. The event will bring together research facilities, scientists, and high-tech companies to engage in structured discussions aimed at solving real-world challenges.
AIMday (Academic Industry Meeting day) is a well-established format that enables research organisations to present their challenges, while experts from academia and industry select the questions most relevant to their expertise. These are then addressed through focused, solution-oriented workshops under the principle of “One Question, One Hour.”
Focus on Green Tech Solutions
The 2025 edition will have a special thematic focus on Green Tech Solutions, reflecting the central role of sustainable technologies in meeting Europe’s energy, climate, and innovation goals.

INPROCAP (Innovation Procurement Capacity Building for Industrial Liaison Officers) is a Horizon Europe-funded initiative (Grant Agreement No. 101157621) dedicated to strengthening advisory services on innovation procurement within the Big Science ecosystem. The project develops training, tools, and methodologies to enhance the role of Industrial Liaison Officers (ILOs), Business Support Organisations (BSOs), and other stakeholders in supporting SMEs to access innovation-driven opportunities in Big Science.
